THE
TEAM
Dave Bartoo lives with his wife, Judie, of 24 years, son and daughter in Forest Grove, OR. He came to Oregon from California in 1989 and graduated from the University of Oregon in 1993. Dave loves being outdoors preferably with a pack or scuba tank on his back or a fishing rod in his hands.
Dave is a founding partner of Matrix Analytical Solutions, LLC. His favorite segment of the company is working with coaches and athletic directors on using numbers to their advantage in hiring, games, fundraising and injury recovery.
In addition to his work at MAS, Dave is a national sports talk radio show guest and has been listed as a top 100 person to follow for College Football by Athlon Sports (Twitter @CFBMatrix).
His love of numbers and analytics started right out of college when he pioneered a consumer behavior model for consumer finance for Norwest Bank. The baseline from the model is still in use today by Wells Fargo.
Adam McClintock lives with his wife, Payton, of 14 years, and two sons in Tulsa, OK. Originally from Nebraska, he came to Oklahoma right after attending John Brown University in Arkansas graduating with a degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2006. Adam loves music and the outdoors where he can usually be found running or on the sidelines coaching whatever youth sport is in season.
Adam is a founding partner of Matrix Analytical Solutions, LLC. He loves working with numbers behind the scenes of the company designing new methods to put what is happening on the field into new context.
In addition to his work at MAS, Adam does design and analysis work for military & commercial aerospace simulation, specialising in Finite Element Analysis.
Adam has always had a passion for College Football, but his passion for correlating numbers to what is happening on the field began in college when he started designing algorithms to determine anything from game outcomes to coaching ability straight from his dorm room; the foundation of the MAS Coach Rating Index was a result.
